Sakis Rouvas has received an International Award, at the Balkan Music Award for the Best Balkan Song from Greece.
The Balkan Music Awards is a new institution, held on May 16th, by the Balkanika Music Television. Sakis Rouvas has received the award for the song Spase to Hrono, which was voted by the audience of Greece and the other Balkan countries, as the best Balkan song from Greece for 2009. Almost all the known and popular songs released in 2009 were among the nominated ones, but Sakis managed to win this award, adding one more excellence in his career.
Sakis traveled to Sofia on May the 16th to receive the award and sing live for the Balkan Audience that attended the ceremony, but also the TV viewers who were watching it live from all Balkan countries.
We should also remind that Anna Vissi is nominated for Best Balkan singer and for best Balkan Video Award.
