Pirotehnimata – Helena Paparizou

Helena Paparizou sings Pirotehnimata, a Greek song which translates to Fireworks in English. It is a song written by Kostas Doxas and composed by Giorgos Sampanis.

Pirotehnimata is a rhythmic and dynamic song, of the same genre and type we are used to hear from Helena. It is a song about the new love that comes in our lives; despite all the problems and the mess we have gone through, a new love can come and fix everything, giving us a new purpose, new reason to live. Love is healing, is comforting, it comes as fireworks in the sky and clean it, make it all bright and shiny.

The song was officially released as a radio single on December 22, 2008, while the video premiered on a special episode of Mega Star on December 27, 2008. “Pirotehnimata” debuted and peaked at number two on the Billboard Greek Digital Singles Chart for the week of January 24, 2008.

In January 7, 2009 the Top30 most played songs of 2009 were published at Cypriot radio station site Super Fm and “Pirotehnimata” was the 8th most played greek song in 2009 with 12171 plays, and 10th between the most played greek-international songs.
