Con Te Partiro, Pote Ksana – Giorgos Dalaras, Marios Frangoulis

Giorgos Dalaras and Marios Frangoulis sing Con Te Partiro, a very famous song which means “I’ll go with you”. The song was originally sung by Andrea Bocelli, but here we present the Greek version of the song, which contains both Italian and Greek Lyrics, written by Odysseas Ioannou. The Greek song is named “Pote Ksana”, which means “Never Again”.

The song “Con Te Partiro” is composed by Francesco Sartori and is one of the most famous Italian songs ever written; the original version with Andrea Bocelli was gripping and touching, but here we have the chance to hear one of the best Greek singers, Giorgos Dalaras to sing along with one of our best tenors, Marios Frangoulis. The result, therefore, could not be less fabulous and melodious. The song achieved such a widespread success that a new version came soon after Bocelli released it, sung partly in English, pairing Bocelli with soprano Sarah Brightman, released as “Time to Say Goodbye”.
