The famous Greek band, Pyx Lax will reunite for a last concert this summer in 2011. It is actually going to be a series of 5 concerts starting from the Athens Olympic Stadium on Wednesday 13th of July.
The members of the former band, Philippos Pliatsikas and Babis Stokas along with their musicians will meet again on stage to offer a memorable music experience, because the “old loves go to Heaven”, but they are not lost even if we don’t talk about them.
This music meeting will take place in honor of the other member of the band Pyx Lax, Manos Ksidous, who is no longer with us. Their last concert as a band was given in September 2004 and was named “telos” which means end.
Pyx Lax in ancient Greek means “with punches and kicks” and denotes the way this band entered the scene of the Greek music, with the passion and urge of a few “loners” who managed to make thousands of fans all over Greece.
We are looking forward to their reunion even if it for a few concerts. Stay tuned for the exact dates and venues.
