Featuring in Javier Limon’s “Mujeres de agua” project North Sea Jazz Festival Eleftheria will appear on a great show on July 10th in Rotterdam.

The  North Sea Jazz Festival opened its gates in 1976 in the Nederlands Congresgebouw in The Hague. It was one of the largest festivals of the time with 6 venues , 300 artists and about9000  visitors. In this very first festival year internationally renowned jazz legends performed, such as Sarah Vaughan, Count Basie, Dizzy Gillespie

In 2006, the festival moved to a larger location in Rotterdam, and in 2011 it is expected that more than 70000 spectators will be attending the shows each day. The organization is expecting more than 1000 musicians in 13 stages and 150 different shows. Eleftheria Arvanitaki is one of the best known Greek singers in Europe, since many of her albums have managed to reach the top10 of foreign albums since 1991.
