Loukas Giorkas sings the song “Watch my Dance” featuring Stereo Mike,with music composed by Giannis Christodoulopoulos and with lyrics by Eleana Vrahali.
The song Watch My Dance is performed in both English and Greek lyrics, and blends in a nice way a fusion of rap and zeibekiko styles. Loukas Giorkas also emerged from the first season of the talent showThe X Factor in 2008, winning the competition. He is from Cyprus and he is 25 years old.
The song Watch my dance is a rather sociopolitical song, and Giorkas suggested that if he is chosen for the Eurovision Song contest, he intends to show to the other European countries that even amidst crisis, Greece manages to send good songs with both international and local sound.
