Giorgos Alkaios with his song  OPA and Greece made it and took the ticket for the final of the Eurovision song contest on May 29th 2010.

Giorgos Alkaios sang OPA in the first semifinal, in a rather impressive and dynamic appearance that managed to fascinate the spectators  in the Telenor Arena and the TV viewers who voted for the song OPA, giving it the chance to participate in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest.

Giorgos Alkaios and Greece will appear 11th on the night of the final, according to the draw that took place after the 1st semifinal.

We still don’t know what was the placement of the 10 countries, because the votes will be announced after the Final.

The other countries that will advance to the final are: Bosnia Herzegovina, Serbia with a song composed by Goran Bregovic, Russia, Moldova, Portugal, Iceland with its amazing vocalist, Belgium with a lovely ballad, Albania with a nice rhythmic song and Belarus with its butterflies..
